2. Scope
These terms apply to orders placed through this restaurant’s website. The current menu, prices, available ordering channels, delivery area, opening hours and payment methods shown during checkout form part of the order.
3. How an order is placed
- Select the available ordering method, dishes, quantities, options and requested time.
- Review allergens, dietary information, prices, fees, payment method and the final total.
- Provide accurate contact and, where applicable, delivery details and accept these terms.
- Submit the clearly labelled order with payment obligation. A confirmation is sent using the contact details provided.
The customer’s submission is an offer. The order is confirmed when the restaurant accepts it. A payment authorisation does not require the restaurant to accept an unavailable order.
4. Prices, VAT and fees
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT. Delivery fees, minimum order, discounts and the total payable are shown before confirmation. The server, not the browser, calculates the binding total.
5. Menu, allergens and origin information
Dish names and required allergen information are provided before purchase. Where required for a restaurant meal, the origin of fresh, chilled or frozen beef, pork, sheep, goat and poultry used as an ingredient must also be available before the decision to buy. Recipes and availability may change, so customers with serious allergies should contact the restaurant before ordering.
6. Payment methods
- No ordering payment method is currently available; the website will not accept an order until one is enabled.
The customer is charged only according to the payment method selected at checkout. Online-payment credentials are entered in the payment provider’s service, not on this website.
7. Pickup, delivery and scheduled orders
Online ordering is currently disabled.
8. Customer responsibilities
- Provide a reachable telephone number and correct contact details.
- Check the delivery address, postcode, door code and instructions before submitting.
- Collect or receive the order without unreasonable delay and follow reasonable age or identity checks where applicable.
- Review the dish-specific allergen information and contact the restaurant before ordering if cross-contact would present a serious risk.
9. Availability and changes
If an item is unavailable, the restaurant may reject the affected item or order and contact the customer. The restaurant will not make a materially different substitution without the customer’s agreement. Any amount charged for an unfulfilled item is refunded.
10. Cancellation and statutory withdrawal
Restaurant meals are normally prepared for a specific order and can deteriorate rapidly. A general 14-day withdrawal right therefore does not usually apply to such food orders. Restaurant or catering services agreed for a specific date or period may also fall outside the statutory withdrawal right. This does not remove rights relating to a defective, missing, late or incorrectly supplied order.
As an additional contractual service, the customer can use the order-tracking page to request cancellation before the restaurant accepts the order. After acceptance, contact the restaurant immediately; cancellation is possible only if preparation or fulfilment can reasonably be stopped.
11. Complaints and customer service
Report a problem without undue delay and include the order number, what was wrong and, where useful, photographs. Contact mezehouse.fi@gmail.com
If the matter cannot be resolved directly, a consumer may contact Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and, where applicable, submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board.
12. Applicable law
Finnish law applies without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in the consumer’s country of residence.
